Assalamualaikum
So how are you guys doing? Had a great weekend? Alhamdulillah me, my wife and our little boy Adam are doing great. Just a little bit tired from our hectic weekend and long distance travelling. As I told you earlier, last weekend we went to Rembau to my MakNgah’s house and then balik to my kampong in Perak. It feels nice & refreshing if once in a while we take chance to balik kampong to see our folks and get away from works & hectic life. Kat kampong, my wife dpt merasa ikan terubuk bakar yg lame dia mengidam hasil usaha aku membakar..heheh..Taklah sebenarnye my dad yg bakar, aku just tolong tgk2 je..hehe..Biasela my dad sayang sgt dekat menantu dia ni. Lebih2 lagi bile tgh mengandungkan his first cucu, lagila dia sayang. When I first called him and told him that we just went to see our gynae, I asked him,
“ Abah, abah nak cucu lelaki ke perempuan?”, he replied,”Kalau ikut abah, abah rase abah nak perempuan”. Then I told him the news,”Takla bah, abah dpt cucu lelaki”. “Oooo yeke, alhamdulillah, tape abah tak kisah sgt pun lelaki ke perempuan”.
The same thing happened when I asked my mom. Actually most of our family members prefer us to have a baby girl, the reason is because dah ramai sgt lelaki in our family. But for us, we don’t actually mind whether our baby is a boy or a girl. We already are so grateful to be given one. It’s a bless!
Ok, last Friday we had our regular monthly check up but this time the session was with sonogramer instead of our gyane. That lady was kind and nice to us. She explained everthing that she saw on the screen to both of us and she even talked to the baby to give a nice ‘pose’ so that it’s easy to capture a clear 3D sonogram. Kalau tak nanti mummy and daddy tak nampak ape pun…hehehe..Alhamdulillah according to the sonogramer, everything looks perfect. Syukur alhamdulillah cukup sifat sume and the baby is also healthy. Daddy pun makin ‘sehat’ nampak gayenye ni. To let you guys know, when the sonogramer showed me the face of the baby she asked me,
“Ayah, tgk ni rupe mcm siape?”, I immediately said, “Ni muke mcm mummy ni!Especially tang hidung!”. Then the sonogramer replied, “Ooo yeke, kalo mcm tu mesti baby boyla ni. Dah tau dah boy ke girl?”. I said,”Belom!Kalo nak tgk dah boleh dah?”. “Boleh2, jap saya tunjukkan”.
Then she showed us the pic. that confirms our baby is a boy. Alhamdulillah I felt so relief that finally I know the gender of my baby. It is like; we have successfully passed through another stage gate in our life. After this, the next one is the birth of our baby boy Adam. I’m also glad that our baby has the features of his mummy, like what I’ve always wanted. Hopefully, when he grows older those features become more significant. Fyi, I have this sort of feeling that our baby is quite athletic, has the potential to be a sports maniac like his daddy…hehehe..Want to know why? Lately, my wife suddenly like to watch movies about sports, she never watches one. Hari tu tgk cite psl golf then last week cite “Goal”, of course la about football, stay up late sampai ngantuk2 kat office. Ok, that’s still understandable la because she loves watching movies pun. But last night, she watched with me Tennis French Open Rolland Garos finale between Federer and Nadal. She even got excited when I explained all the rules and how the game is going to be played. Berie2 sokong federer. I also did explain to her who Roger Federer is, who Rafael Nadal is, why they are considered as the top players in the world at the moment, how they count the points, what is “Ace”, how many point do they need to win each game, what is deuce etc. If you want to know, my wife ni jarang2 sket nak amek tau psl sports ni. We are completely different at this, I myself really into sports, any kind of sports per say, but my wife is the opposite. Having some differences is not a bad thing; it will definitely add some colours in our marriage. Somehow it makes our marriage works well. Ok, that’s the reason why I think my baby has the potential to be like his daddy, a sports enthusiast, sounds much better than maniac..hehehe..
Now Adam is 22 weeks old, 5 and half months, about 4 more months left. We just can’t wait the day he’s born into this world. We are gonna do everything we can just to raise him and give him all the love that we have. Adam so far has been so great especially to mummy. Tak byk kerenah, senang je nak jaga. Mummy tade mengidam yg pelik2 (daddy pun senang hati, tade pening2 nak cari), morning sickness pun tak teruk, muntah2 just a few times (adela 4-5 kali gitu) je through out the 5 months ni, alhamdulillah mlm2 pun tido lena jugak, kalo mummy dia puase ganti Adam baik je tade meragam ke ape walaupun terpakse tak mkn skali, mood swing pun my wife tak sgt, aman damai je hidup daddy..hehehe..hopefully it goes well like this through out the whole pregnancy and sampai Adam dah besar ek.
I guess you guys might also wonder why we choose Adam, actually my wife yg suke that name, so aku tak kisah sgtla. Senang nak panggil and simple je. Lagipun the first manusia yg diciptakan Allah di bumi ni pun name Adam, so sesuaila utk our first baby ni. Plus, another bonus is the initial also same with my wife, Aida. Actually it’s not going to be just Adam, it will be Adam something. We just have not finalised it yet. Later when Adam is born we will let you guys know his full name ok. If, you guys also have any other names that nicely matched with Adam and of course with a good meaning, please let us know la ek. Kalau menarik bolehla kitorang pertimbangkan..hehe..Oh fyi, we also have thought the names for our future baby girls and boys, kire adik2 Adam la..hehehe..
Ok guys, dah panjang lak aku tulis and it’s almost lunch time pun. Later I will put Adam’s 3D images that we got during the check up. Aku tertinggal cd nye dlm kete. After lunch nantila aku upload dlm entry ni. Ok, thank you for dropping by and for all of your prayers. Please do keep praying for us and for our baby, may Allah bless you all always.
