Our kad kawen

Man...lame gile tak update blog..i started my last entry also with the same thing jugak..argh just so lazy to update..actually previously i got some ideas what to write about in my blog but of course procrastination kills the ideas off. Anyway, yesterday we just got our kad kawin. Wondering why 'kad kawin'?Are we getting married again?No..no..it's actually a kad kawin..hahaha..shoot..seriously don't know how to describe it..to make it easy, it's a card that replaces your surat nikah. You guys know la kan how leceh to bring your surat nikah every where you go, plus the surat nikah can be easily koyak, comot etc. So with this card you can easily slip it in your purse or wallet like your identification card or license, much more handy to be honest. In that card it basically shows that your solemnisation date and other particulars or your marriage. Plus it also has your pic and your spouse as well. Just to let you know, mase nak buat that kad ari tu i wanted to use my old pic instead of new one. I think that pic was taken 5 years ago for my license. But my wife refused. She said,

"Bang, nanti kalo kita kene tangkap basah ke, tak pasal2 kene tangkap btul2 sbb diorang ingat ayang kawen dgn org lain because my husband in that card looks totally different dgn yg the real one. How are they going to believe us?"

...I've got no reservation for that because she's absolutely right..5 years ago i was so thin and had long hair, nampak anggun gitu..heehehe..but now, it's totally the opposite way. As a matter of fact, early last year pun i was actually still thin and fit..Now, big fat with really2 short hair..so at a glance, i could actually look like a big fat ugly ogre..i think you know what ogre actually is..to support that fact, last month if i'm not mistaken, we went our university of sheffield alumni where we met some of our old friends and seniors. Ah i think you can easily anticipate la what happened kan, a lot of people surprised when they met at me..

"Taufik, you look (long pause) errrrr..so 'different' la..so how are you?"

"Dude!! seriously i did not recognize you AT ALL when I saw you just now"

...what do you expect me to reply?Basically I replied nothing..i just smiled and tried to distract them with other subject of conversation..hehehe..Anyway, eventhough i always get that kind of reaction everytime i meet my old friends, i still could simply act nonchalantly..awal2 je terase but then after that malas la nak amek kisah sgt..buat fening kepale je, lagipun leceh aaa nak diet2 ni...hehehe..oh shoot, it's already 5 something, got to go back guys..have a nice weekend!chiow!Anyway, our 1st. wedding anniversary is just around the corner..yay!!can't wait to celebrate it!!fuh, cepat sungguh mase berlalu..believe me guys, it's all totally worth it!!!=)
