The beginning of the new chapter

Assalamualaikum..

Ellop!!I guess you guys already know what I was talking about in my previous post…hehehe..Yup!I’m gonna be a daddy soon!!Hardly to believe eh?Yeah!Me either. Seriously I think that’s the greatest feeling ever in life. It means that,now I’m gonna start a new chapter of my life. I’m excited!My wife also excited. We both are happy. We can’t wait to see our new family member…heheh..

Fyi, it was started last few weeks if I’m not mistaken, when my wife’s boss, Kak Z told her that she will be going to overseas for a project. There are actually 2 working trips, 1 to Italy and another 1 to the States. The trip to Italy supposed to be in the next couple of days and the one to the States will be somewhere in June, so they had to make decision quickly in order to proceed with all the necessary procedures prior to acquiring approval. Kak Z told her and her colleage, Kak A to decide whom is going to where. Only 1 person can go to either place together with Kak Z. The Kak Z casually said to my wife that if she’s pregnant then she can not go to Italy, instead she can go to US in June. So it’s ok for her to travel by that time because the womb will be a couple of months old. There are also other considerations that we took into account. So to cut it short, plus that time her regular PMS was already a couple of days late. There was possibility that she would be pregnant. I told my wife that I had a strong feeling that she’s pregnant; she denied it because my feeling or intuition is rarely right. Yup I admit that…heheh..Then during lunch hour we went to a clinic to check whether my feeling was right, unfortunately the result was negative. We were a little bit disappointed and it makes me to believe more that my feeling is not reliable as always. Anyway, we made our decision that, even if my wife not pregnant she’s still gonna go to the States for some strategic reasons..hehehe…Afterall, her colleague Kak A who supposed to go to Italy couldn’t go because of some ridiculous reasons from management. Kesian Kak Z penat2 kene gaduh dgn their big boss to justify the trip tapi in the end tak dpt jugak pegi. Since that kecoh2 incident, we just kept everything as usual. After some times, some symptoms started kicking in. I was a little bit happy because I know there’s a glimpse of hope...hehehe…I know this time my feeling wasn’t wrong…heh..One Friday my wife went out with her girl friends like usual for lunch, window shop etc..girl stuffs..heh..she told her friends who both are a mother of one about those symptoms, and they said there’s possibility of her to get pregnant. So they suggested her to buy the pregnancy test stick and test it herself. Actually that weekend, we were going back to my kampong because we had a family function. When my wife told me that she just bought the testing stick I was so glad because that’s what I’ve always been pushing her before..hehehe..We brought back the test stick and decided to test it early morning next day at kampong. We had been told that the test should be undertaken early at the morning with first urine. Wonder why?I myself also not so sure, they said that it’s because the hormone are still uncontaminated and so the result will be accurate.

Next day, pagi2 lagi aku bangun, took out the testing stick and gave it to my wife and asked her to pee on it asap..hahahaha…memang tak sabar gile…she did the test when she was taking her bath while me, waiting for her outside the bathroom anxiously. She went out and I smiled so wide seeing her holding the stick in her hand. What I was looking for was the word POSITIVE from her. But then she only said, she already had done the test and me still waiting eargerly the word that I wanted to hear. Bile my wife saw me tersengih mcm kerang busuk, she said,

”I’m not sure the result la bang sebab ayang terlupa nak tgk result indicator”.

I said, “What?!jom2 kita tgk cepat!”..

seriously I was so anxious tapi muke dah tersenyum2 dah, mmg confident gile. Then, she checked it and she said to me,

” Bang, it’s positive!”.

I was so excited and I hug her. Nasib baik dekat rumah opah, kalo tak mmg dah terlompat2 dah..hehehe..Then we told our aunties and uncles, my mom and abah. Abah was so happy. When I told him, terus dia ckp “Alhamdulillah” kuat2 and when he saw my wife he waved to her to come to him.

“Seronok abah. Abah tunggu2 jugak, tapi tade respon pun. Alhamdulillah. Jaga elok2.”…

hehe…everybody was so happy for us. Then we told mama and abah pulak. Same reaction, especially abah, he as well so happy for us. He straight away called a lot of his friends to spread the news that he’s gonna be an atuk.

“Korang dapat datuk, aku dapat atuk”.

That’s normally how he told his friends…hehehe…Our baby is actually their first grandchild, that’s why they are so happy when they received the news from us.

Then when we went back to Kajang, on Monday we took a leave to go to see doctor for confirmation and yes, it’s still positive. The doctor said, the baby is about 7 weeks old. She then referred us to a gynaecologist in Ampang Putri Specialist. We went there to see the doctor for further check up. The doctor scanned and showed us the picture of the baby, it’s so tiny. He told us the situation of the kandungan is threatened abortion which means that there is possibility for miscarriage kalau tak dijaga elok2. The first trimester which is the first 3 months is very crucial period. Special care needs to be taken to avoid the unfortunate event. Nauzubillah. The doctor said that he would give us,err actually to my wife je, heheh.. the medicine to make the womb stronger to hold the baby safely in there. Fingers crossed, insyallah everything will be fine. I’m gonna take care of my wife and the baby as well really really well. I can’t wait to see the baby’s development time after time especially the period when the baby can ‘communicate’ and gives response to whatever happens in the surrounding. Ah!this experience is so amazing. I’m so excited!

P/s: From now on, most of my entries will be the update of the development/progress of the baby..I just subscribed to a website which tells everything about pregnancy and baby. They will send updates to my mail frequently to keep me update with the development of my baby. Awesome!!Mcm aku lak yg pregnant..hahahaha..what the heck!!I'm just so excited!!
