Bola..bolaa...bolaaa...

Damn sleepy today. To keep me awake, I think blogging is a nice and effective option rather than reading work related materials. Actually the sleepiness is well worth because of the great clash between the EPL titans last night where MU stumbled at The Emirates 2-1. It was a breathtaking match. The 'King' Henry scored a very very last minute winning goal to crush MU hope to have 9 points lead at the top of the league after The Blues' 2-0 defeat to The Kops. So the championship is still wide open, which means more great matches to come. Nice!

If you are aware, tomorrow Malaysia is gonna play Singapore in first leg of AFF Championship, also known as Tiger Cup in Shah Alam Stadium. So what do you expect?Any prediction? Ke korang taktau menau pun psl Tiger Cup ni?heheh..understandable..I would love to see Malaysia win that match but my intuition tells me otherwise. I did watch Malaysia's qualifying matches against Myanmar and Thailand. Oh my, if i talk further about those 2 matches people might question my patriotism. But what the heck, football is football. If you play so bad than you will not get away with all the negative and harsh critics. Critics actually show that we still care with the future of our Malaysian football. We want it back to where it belongs, where we were well respected by other teams in our region like Korea, Japan and Arabs which they are now becoming the big teams in Asia. Let's see some facts here, just to ponder how come those countries make such a dramatic improvement while we, worsening years after years. We started our professional league somewhere in 80's while Japan started theirs a decade later. We were also one of the teams from asian that qualified for Olympic games in Moscow in 70's if i'm not mistaken but we didn't go because we were boycotting Rusia for some reasons. I guess there's nothing much to say about. Let's the ranking do the talking now. According to FIFA, we ranked 157 in the world. Our neighbor S'pore at 126 and Thailand at 124. For full ranking just see here. If you see the full ranking you will see the countries which have better ranking than us, some of them you've never even heard before and make you wonder, where the heck are these countries? What makes worse is, you will wonder, how come these countries have much better ranking than us while our footballers here are well-paid, well-equipped with high class sports facilities and technologies and make a really good living by playing football. I think we all are actually know that there's something wrong somewhere but most of the time we prefer to pretend that it just does not exist. But lately ni since our ranking dropping further down diorang dah sedar sikit, they are now starting to develop a well structured system from the core root to pluck all the talents and groom them for the future. I think programme like Myteam is a great effort which opens a good and fair opportunity in gathering great talents through out the nation where they usual don't get from the existing adopted system. Hopefully these great talents will not be wasted or even worse exploited by those greedy people who only thinks how to fill their own pocket through other people hard work.

Enough nagging our local football or national football team. It doesn't bring any good or make the situation a lot better. Anyway, it's still about football..hehehe..Last Saturday I had an inter-batch futsal tournament organised by STARoba, alumni for my school in conjuction with our 'Jubli Emas' celebration this year. It was a great event eventhough we didn't win. Fyi, actually we didn't even qualify to the knock-out stage, lost during the group stage. We managed to win a match, lost 1 and drew 1. For that 3 matches, we scored 3 goals and conceded 4 goals. The only good thing is, I scored 2 goals out of the 3. ..Hahahaha...Couldn't do much because we all were so pancit, fitness level is so disappointing especially me. I haven't played football for months I guess and that's how I gain so much weight now...hahaha..Ever since i get married, I easily gained about 15 kilos, amazing isn't it?No la, that's absolutely crazy!I've been married for almost 9 months which means 1.67kilos per month..hahaha...If I don't start dieting or exercising, in about couple more months i'll be becoming a big dark ogre... No way, it will not happen!!That's what my inner self talking, not my body..hehehe..Malas gile nak exercise, sebab exercise berie2nye gile pun berat tak turun gak. Plus lepas balik keje, dah duk lepak2 kat umah, ade wife pulak kat sebelah, usah harapla nak bangun gi exercise dah...hahaha...Seriously, once you gain weight it's damn difficult to lose it, sometimes it can be worse, you gain more weight especially kalau diet tak kene gaye yg sepatutnye. Tapelah, as long as aku happy and badan sihat, cukupla..alhamdulillah (ayat standard bile dah nak give up). Please God, make me thin and tough again!=D
