Orait, a little post-mortem on what had been happening last weekend. Lets recap, firstly the wedding reception in Tepeng. Me, my wife and my bro in law with his friend, went there right after working, around 630pm gitu. We stopped by for a short break at R&R Tapah. We had our dinner there before continuing our journey. We arrived at the motel that had been reserved by the bride's family about in the midnight. Since it was in the midnight there's nothing much to do. Everybody was so tired especially the driver,hehe..Upon reaching, everybody was heading straight to the reserved room and ready to sleep except me and my wife. We had a little problem because we were just told that we had to sleep separately for that night. What?!how come?Since there were only 2 rooms, 1 for the bride and her family and the other one was for us. Since the friend of my bro in law was with us then it's better my wife sleep with her cousin who's actually the bride and her family rather than sleeping with me and the other 2 boys in a room. Tak manisla pulak if we husband-wife sleeping together with the presence of 2 teenage boys. Tapela, so that night i slept on my own with the other2 boys but they were in different bed. That was the second time i sleep separately with my wife. The first time was when we had our team building session early this month. That one lagila for 2 nights. Alah, separate sekejap dah kecoh. Ade org lain lagila kene separate for months, rilek je. Woi bro, sukahati akula. I just can't sleep well without my wife. I don't actually mind if people wanna say that' i'm ngengada. So what?hehe..actually tade pun org ckp cenggitu, saje je aku nak menimbulkan suasana..hehe..fyi, me and my wife mmg belangkas gilela. We never separate since we get married. We are damn lucky because we work at the same place. Paling lame pun berpisah everytime aku gi main futsal for a few hours. Kalau tak hari tu mase team building kitorang should be in the separate session, but aku dengan muka tak malu and selamba badak email the focal person for that activity to include my wife in that particular session. Initially, they told me that it was full and could not be done, then i said okla and adela a few ayat2 memujuk yg lain..hehe..after a few days my wife got an email telling that she could join the same session with me. Weehooo!!!Then pastu aku bercadang nak demand lagi utk kasi kitorang sebilik lak..hahaha..kire mcm aku ni dah bagi betis nak peha, wing, leher, kaki, hati, pedal even tongkeng skali..tapi my wife refused and takut diorang ckp kitorang ni ngengade lak..actually aku tak kisah langsung pun, lantakla org nak ckp ape. Bukannye buat mende tak elok pun kan...hehehe..mentang2la dah kawen, ikut sukahati aku je kan..ntahla labu..nak wat cam mane...so lastly we stayed in different rooms but on the positive side, at least we could have the team building session together. Kalo tak sorang session lain, sorang lagi session lain and that's much worse. Ah sudah, dah ke mane lak aku cerite ni. Back to the wedding reception in Tepeng, since aku dah byk melalut tadi, to cut it short, the next day we went to the wedding reception in the afternoon. It was a simple and wonderful reception where everybody looked so joyful to celebrate the new couple to start a new life together. After the wedding reception, we went back to my kampung for a kenduri doa selamat.
On the way to kampung we dropped by to my old school in Ipoh. My wife teringin sgt nak tgk the school which her husband is so passionate with...heheh..it was a good visit, the school was empty because of school holidays. When we were entering the gate suddenly all the great memories rushing back to my head. I brought my wife touring my school and proudly showed her all the buildings inside the school confinement with some stories that particularly related to my life there. I told her that that school look so damn old and require a massive refurbishment. Sometimes i just wondering how the students are actually studying in that kind of environment. I wish later in the future the school will be physically renovated like other premier boarding schools where some of it are already being re-located in more condusive environment. Ifever they are planning to refusbish the school in the future, i hope that they will not forget to preserve all the historical values that are so precious to all of us. We wandered around inside the school area for about half an hour then we headed back to my kampung.
We reached atuk's house after 2 hours journey, at about 6pm. Mak and my other siblings were already there. We entered the house, after salam2 and sembang2 sket, i took my bath and then i collapsed, slept tirelessly. I was so damn tired, been driving here and there. Later in the evening i woke up and helped with keje2 dapur sket. My wife toksah citela, rajin gile as usual, ke hulu ke hilir tolong wat keje dapur and once in a while stopped kejap jenguk2 laki dia terbongkang tido kat dapur tu gak..hahaha...The kenduri was held in the afternoon the next day. Alhamdulillah everything went well. Right after the kenduri doa selamat we had a small birthday party for my youngest sister Jiha and our cousin Ajim, Mak Andak's son. All the kids were excitedly wearing a mask (my wife bought them the mask and also the birthday cake as well as the presents for my sis, thanx dear), it was like a masquerade party..they seemed so happy and enjoyed themselves together with their Kak Long (my wife). Aku lak, dok menengok je maleh sgt nak sibuk2..heheh..all the kids adore my wife especially my sister..I'm lucky to have such an incredibly loving and sweet wife.. After everything was done, we decided to head back to Kajang. My opah bekalkan punyala byk left overs food from the kenduri, mcm stock utk seminggu je. We reached Kajang around 10pm, where my wife straight to the bedroom and slept tirelessly. Sian dia kepenatan, rajin sgt menolong opah and mak dia kat dapur for the whole time we were there. While my wife was asleep, me myself unpacked our belongings and did some laundry. After that, took my bath and had my dinner. Then i watched football match on telly till i fell asleep. At about 5 or 6 am, my wife suddenly woke up and realised that her big fat dark husband wasn't with her on bed. She found him terbongkang in front of telly. She woke me up and we went to our bedroom, we performed subuh prayers and then doze off till afternoon to end our long weekend.
p/s: There are some pics taken during the weekends, I will upload them later.
