I don't even know how to actually start writing this. This guy is a special friend of mine and he just passed away today at age of 27 due to epilepsy. I am utterly shocked when I first heard the news and very, very sad to lose such a great and wonderful friend like him. Our path crossed when we were in college doing our A-Level. We were also in the same house, Topaz. Then, we were housemates for 3 great years at Sheffield went we did our degree. In Malaysia, we live not so far apart from each other, I was in Kajang and he lives in Sg. Ramal Bangi. We always go for futsal together and share a lot of things while on the way there. I am sure I am gonna miss those special moments with you bro...

Reza..you are one of a kind..I'm glad I have met you in my life..Thank you for being such a great friend..A lot of people will miss you terribly especially your family..I will always pray for you and semoga rohmu dicucuri rahmat..Al-Fatihah..

Aidil Fitri is just around the corner. I guess now people are already in festive mood and getting ready to go back to their home town. Oh! I really miss the wonderful atmosphere and the joyous moment celebrating Eid in Malaysia. Gathering with family on the eve of Eid, preparing all the delicious traditional cuisines together, cleaning & decorating the house. The excitement keeps everybody up till late but still can manage to wake up the next morning early and fresh for the Eid prayers. So for this year, it’s the first time we celebrate Eid only with the 3 of us and also the in-coming baby.

So I just want to take this opportunity, to wish all of you Happy Eid Mubarak and maaf zahir batin from all of us, may you have a blissful Eid with your family, take care and drive carefully OK!

Our Visit to Saarbrucken & Trier, GERMANY

Last 2 weeks we went to visit my wife's brother, Hilmi in Saarbrucken, GERMANY. Hilmi is Adam's PakNgah. This year probably Imi's final year here so we took the opportunity to come here for a couple of days. It was really beautiful especially Trier.

Wonderful Day in Emirates Stadium

Last Saturday we went to Emirates Stadium, home for ARSENAL to watch Emirates Cup 2009. 4 teams participated in the pre-season mini tournament, they were ARSENAl (England), Rangers (Scotalnd), Athletico Madrid (Spain) & PSG (France). ARSENAL emerged as the champion after defeating Athletico 2-1 & Rangers 3-0. I think we are ready for this coming new season with much better and more complete squad. Those who already have written us off from the championship this year, watch out! You might eat your own words at the end of the season...hehehe..Go Gunners!

Last Saturday we went to IKEA Wembley for the first time. It's quite far and took about an hour to reach there by bus but the trip was worth it. We really enjoyed our time there. We wanted to buy some stuffs for our home and also Adam's toy. Since he can not go to school nowadays due to the worsen of swine flue case, we decided to turn our living room into a playground for him. At least he will have something fun to do to occupy his time at home instead of pissing off Mommy..hehehe..

This is how we usually spend our precious family time during weekends, enjoying ourselves in park while watching Adam running & playing. There are a lot of big and beautiful parks here in London and they are not really far from where we live. The public facilities also good for everybody's convenience.

This fella is a friend of ours. He's one h*ll of Chelsea Fan. His love with football is unquestionable. I have never met anybody from Malaysia who really gives his life for football. He's now working as a manager of a kids football academy in Malacca. He comes here to London because he's visiting an open day of a university to take a course in football management to realise his big dream. I wish him the very best of luck. All the best buddy!

Mommy's Day Off

Yesterday Adam went to his school with me. Yup, it was Mommy's day off. The children centre had organised a trip for father & child to Latchmere Leisure Centre swimming pool. We went there around 10am with the bus that the centre hired. The leisure centre is well-equiped with fantastic facilities for everybody's convenience. Unfortunately, we were not allowed to take pictures inside the premise for some reasons. Annyway, we all had a great time. Had lunch together while watching our kids having fun in the playground. it's really great to have met & known new people from different background. Adam slept in the bus all the way back. What a wonderful day!

If you notice, there's a cut on Adam's right eyebrow. Just so as you know, he fell down and hit his head on the edge of a table in our room while he was happily running around the house. It really stunned us because he was bleeding and the cut is quite deep. He cried but only for a few minutes, then we washed the blood and put a plaster on. After that, he straight away jumped off and continued playing again as if there's nothing happened.

Adam, Adam...Everyday with you is an adventure to us. He never shorts of ideas. There's always something that he would like to do. He keeps us on the edge all the time. He LOVES trying new things just to push his limit and to test our patience. What he loves the most is doing the thing that we refrain him to do. But, he's a very funny and happy go lucky boy. He never fails to make us happy and makes our life blissful.

My 18 Months Old Boy

It's been long since my last entry. I'm just to busy to update my blog. My boy, Adam just turned 18 months old on 5th of April. We are having so much fun with him because he's very playful. He laughs out loud over silly things.

He has yet to start talking but he really does understand what we are talking to him. Whenever he wants something, he will drag us by holding our fingers to where he wants to go. He baby talks A LOT and it's very, very cute and adorable. He follows simple instructions. He immediately sits whenever he wants to drink. He loves tea and juice. He plays with vacuum cleaners everyday and he knows where we keep it.

Every morning he wakes us up with the most beautiful smile ever and his very loving kiss. He 'salam' by kissing my hand when I leave home for work every morning. He welcomes me with his big and warm hugs when I get back from work. He's still fully breastfed. He weighs only 9+kg even though he eats like there's no tomorrow. He love Islamic Channel here in UK and Astro Oasis back in Malaysia...Alhamdulillah..

He points to his head when we say 'head', same goes when we say nose. He waggles his fingers when we say 'fingers'. He imitates dog's barking and bird's chirping. He literally imitates everything. He makes funny face when we say funny and makes different kind funny face when we say 'cute face'. When we say 'eyes' while moving our eyelash, he spontaneously try to follow but surprisingly and confidently he keeps opening and closing his mouth instead. He loves reading. Everyday whenever he feels like reading, he will choose any books that he likes and passes it to us to read it to him while he's sitting on our lap.

We are so proud of you Adam!Mommy and Daddy love you so much. Happy belated 18 months old son.

We are currently in Zurich because I am having a week course. So while I'm attending the course, my wife and Adam stay in our room or go out around the city. Most of the time in our room, Adam just plays like no tomorrow. He keeps Mommy on her toes all the time. My wife always says that Adam is my copycat. I'm akinda agree with her because that little cheeky boy copies everything that I do and what I say. So I really, really have to be careful with my actions and words. It's also maybe because we are playing buddies!We always gang up to tease Mommy =).

Just look at this picture, where he's carrying my work bag. He tries to be like me. My wife said, he carried that bag on his back and dragged it all over the room the whole afternoon until I get back. Everyday when I get back home from work, I normally like chit chatting with him. I like to listen to his gibberish talks. Cute! Seriously he really talks a lot. If you just look at his facial reaction, it as if he's really having a conversation with me.

So that day, when I got back, I asked what did he do with Mommy today. Mommy said about him carrying the bag and I asked him about it. To my surprise, he seemed to understand what I was asking, he straight away looked for that bag and showed it to me how he carried it. It's just so funny and adorable. Just look at his cheeky smile while carrying the bag..hehe..

Yup!It's true!We are going to Zurich this Sunday and will be spending our time there the whole week next week. However it's not for vacation though, at least for me because I have to attend a course which my supervisor will be giving a series of lectures together with other prominent experts in our particular area. But for my wife and Adam (yup, they are also coming along!), they are free like a bird to go anywhere they want!hehehe..

Based on the given timetable, it seems that everyday I am gonna have a full and pack schedule until evening. Kesian Mommy dengan Adam kena jalan-jalan sendiri lak. Hope they are going to enjoy their time there. I think I will also take the opportunity to introduce my family to my supervisor because he's been asking me about Aida since we came here because he actually does have a special plan for her. Seriously, my supervisor, he's such a wonderful and kind hearted person. Very passionate with what he does. The work environment here is totally different in a positive ways of course. I am so looking forward to work and learn from all these great people (renown expert in their field) for the years to come, insyaallah.

Doakan semoga kitorang selamat pegi, sampai dan kembali and have a wonderful weekends guys!Oh, if we manage to find internet access then you might be getting some updates from us while we are there especially from my wife. She's so desperate to update her blog and be 'online' since we moved in to our house. We have no idea why they take so freaking long time to install broadband in our house. Sabar je la. Ciao!

Adam's First Snow Experience

It was heavy snow last weekend until Monday. According to the news, it's actually the worst snow that hit Britain for the last many years. But it was actually a wonderful experience for me and my family especially Adam because it was his first snow experience.

Most of the public transport were all suspended and many people not able to go to work including me. Yay!hehehe..Actually I tried to come to work though. I went to the tube station but most lines were not working, then I waited at the bus station and someone who was passing by told me that there were no bus services as well. So we took the opportunity to go out while it was snowing heavily and had fun in the park close to Little Venice. Yup, our housing area apparently known as Little Venice. It's not just a name really, it also has small canal just like Venice. But in Venice you'll see a lot of gondola but in our 'Venice' here there are a lot of small boats where people are actually live in it.

So when we reached the park Adam was all excited and giggling most of the time eventhough it was dead cold. Okla, lets just the pictures speak for all the Adam's excitement.

It's London Babeh!

Alhamdulillah finally we are here guys!At the moment we are staying in hotel until we manage to find a house for our little family. Hope we can find our home asap. Those who have no idea why suddenly we are already in London, just to let you know, I have been posted by my company to undertake a research project for 3 years. Alhamdullilah, it's totally a great opportunity and new challenges for me and my family.

Thank you so much for everybody who came to send us (ke nak hantar Adam je..hehehe) off at airport last night. Thank you for the support and your prayers. We really, really appreciate it a lot. Luckily the hotel that we are staying in gives a 24 hours free broadband internet access. Kalau tak, taktau la cam mana nak inform you all that we already arrived here savely. Our mobile phone could not work because Celcom does not automatically roam our phone line when we are overseas. Ces!So korang tolongla informkan orang2 lain ek especially our family members.

I will officially be starting my project this Monday. It's totally a new area for me but it gives much better prospect I would say. I love the new challenges and the new environment. Luckily I have my family together with me to give all the support that I ever need. Hopefully everything will be going well as we plan, insyaallah. Please pray for us eh.

Visit To My Alma Mater - STAR, Ipoh

On the way back from the wedding in Chemor, I decided to drop by at my previous school, STAR, Ipoh. Last time I brought my wife and this time around together with my son Adam. It's been quite some times ago since my last visit here. When I came last weekend, it was dead silent because everybody has gone home during the long school holidays period but I saw a few cars in the admin building, perhaps some admin people and maybe teachers are doing preparation before the school reopen in January.

I spent 5 wonderful years striving to accomplish in studies, gained precious experience about life and friendship. Something that I will treasure for the rest of my life. Who knows, if I didn't go to STAR I might not become of what I am now.

Wedding in Chemor, Perak

I mentioned in my previous entry that last weekend we went back to my kampung in Perak because a cousing of mine was getting married. The wonderful wedding reception was held in Chemor, Perak. Typically when there's a wedding then it will be the time where we can meet up with most of the cousins, aunties, uncles and grandparents with their extended family members. Me and my family convoyed to there with 3 cars and we arrived around afternoon. The food was delicious especially the rendang tok. Kat Perak ni rendang tok adalah satu kemestian dalam mana-mana majlis kawen. We managed to tapau some food untuk di bawa balik. Adam was behaving so well even though it was really really hot and crowded with so many people. We stayed there a couple of hours before heading back straight to Kajang.

Location: Bagan Datoh, Perak

Last weekend we went back to my kampung because a cousin of mine was getting married. Some of you might wonder where the heck Bagan Datoh is in Perak. It's actually a very small town evolved at the 'muara' Sungai Perak and if you could recall when we were studying Geography in secondary school, Bagan Datoh is actually well known with coconut trees. It is the most populated area in Malaysia with coconut trees. Bagan Datoh is just a couple of km from my folks house. So I took the opportunity to go to the jetty just to photograph the sunset and the next day I woke up so early in the morning and drove myself alone with my camera to capture the sunrise while everybody else were still asleep. It was all worth it because the scenery was breathtaking.

I have been flashing this kind of image in my head for god knows how long and I'm sure most of you have already seen this type of photo so many times before. It's just me that never have the opportunity to capture similar image.

Finally, I managed to take this picture yesterday when we went to Dataran Putra in Putrajaya (at Putrajaya Mosque). Actually few days before, I was sooo dissapointed for not bringing my camera when the weather and the scenery was so wonderful. From that moment, I keep telling myself, never ever forget to bring my camera whenever we are out from our home even when we go to work...hehe.. Luckily yesterday was my lucky day, the weather was good and the scenery was awesome. Thank to my wife for being soo supportive as always to make sure that I managed to capture the image that I've always wanted. It was hard really because Adam wasn't in a good mood to be held because he wanted to be on the ground running and playing. Biasala baru dapat kaki orang kata..hehe..

We know that Adam loveeees birds. Everyday he wants us to bring him outside just to see and hear birds chirping before he goes to school. So last weekend we brought him to Bird Park in Taman Tasik Perdana, KL. It was also my first time there. When were there, he was absolutely stunned and speechless. Mungkin sebab banyak sangat burung and semuanya sgt jinak. I think we had a great time there and for sure we will come again. Next visit, we want to go to Butterfly Park.

Seorang lelaki bertanya; "Ya Rasulullah, kepada siapakah harus aku berbakti?"Jawab baginda; "Berbaktilah kepada ibu bapamu."Kata lelaki itu lagi; "Ibu bapaku sudah tiada lagi."Sabda Nabi SAW; "Kalau begitu berbaktilah kepada anakmu, ibubapa berhakterhadap dirimu dan anakmu pula berhak ke atas dirimu."

Third Day Raya in Bagan Datok, Perak

In the afternoon second day raya we went back to my village in Perak. It was quite a long journey for the 3 of us and we reached when the sun was almost set. My family was just couldn't wait to have us celebrate raya with them especially Adam, their first grandchild. When we reached there they already prepared something to have a mini early birthday celebration for Adam.

Second Day Raya in Panchor, Johor

Actually we went to rumah Atok in Pagoh in the evening of the first raya right after maghrib prayer.

The photo is a picture of my wife, Adam with Nenek Adam, my wife's grandmother on second day raya in Pagoh, Johor. I've been told that apparently for Muar people, great grandmother is called Nenek instead of the common Onyang. Adam is the first grandson of the family. So whenever he's around, he will be the centre of attention of everybody. Even when he's cranky and in a very bad mood his atuks, uncles and aunties still come close wanting to play with him. Everybody keeps changing hands of him. Whenever he's out of sights for nursing and sleeping, people will keep asking "Where's Adam?". The moment he comes out again, quickly he will draw large crowd of people like sugar, never fails to attract ants, always being their favourite..hehe..

First Day Raya in KL & Melaka

This year we decided to choose red as our theme for raya. Mommy bought Adam's baju melayu quite early but it's slightly bigger for our petite boy. So just few days before raya Mommy got her hands on it to make some alteration to make sure it fits Adam nicely. So on raya morning, we woke up really early because we were so excited to see our boy to put on his first baju raya and he turned out so handsome and adorable with his songkok on. Right after sembahyang raya together with my wife's family, we all headed to Melaka to my wife's grandmother's house to celebrate raya there with other extended family members.

The Art of Balancing

This is not the picture of my son first starts walking. He already started to walk when he was about 10 months ++ old. Since then, it has been pretty tough for me to capture the picture of him walking. Normally I put him quite a distance from where I wanted to shoot, then I quickly walk to my camera to start snapping pictures. But the moment I reach my hands on my camera, my son was already walking or sometimes he's crawling towards me excitedly to get his hands on my camera. So it makes it pretty difficult to get good focus when he's really really close. It's just soooo challenging, sabar je la..heh..

Within this recent past couple of weeks since he realised that he's able to walk, he keeps on walking and really enjoying himself. So now I could say he's pretty good at walking. He can walk for quite a long distance. So that's why now I could manage to get the picture of him walking. I just put him far enough so that I have adequate time to get to my camera and quickly snap few pictures of him while walking towards me very quickly and excitedly. Daddy so proud of you boy!Pasni boleh kita main bola together ok..hehehe..

On the other note, he's going to celebrate his very first birthday this coming 5th. of October. He's growing up really really fast, time flies so quickly....

My First 'Songkok'

Today after work we decided to go for our last raya preparation shopping and we bought Adam his very first traditional Malay head gear called 'songkok'. He's just sooooooo adorable when wearing the songkok.

When we reached home I was so excited to capture his photo wearing it for the first time but it wasn't that easy though because he just doesn't like to wear anything on top of his head. Plus, it was taken indoor where there's very limited natural lighting and in fact the weather this evening was so cloudy and gloomy. In the end most of the pictures turn out quite blurry. I don't really mind actually because I just don't want to miss the opportunity of capturing those precious moments of my son wearing songkok for the very first time.

Can't wait for raya because we can put on his very first baju raya with that songkok and he's surely looking very cute and handsome.

This is my first attempt in capturing pictures of other things besides my wife and my baby..hehe..I think I love it because flowers bring such wonderful colours and peaceful mood which remind us to the Creator.

These pictures of flowers are taken when we went back to my kampung in Perak last weekend. I just walked around the house with my camera and took the pictures of any flowers that I found. I don't exactly know the name of these flowers, I just assume that they are wild flowers. Hope I did ok and you enjoy the pictures.

Babywearing My Baby

Hey guys, I'm now officially being pimped! My wife pimped me to become a passionate babywearer, buckled Mei Tai in particular. Wondering what babywearing is all about? For me, it's simple, it's a special way of carrying your own baby in a very convenient and practical way and at the same time develop a very special bonding with your own child. I think it is very good for a father because we can not breastfeed..hehehe..Plus, at the same time you ease the burden of your wife to carry your baby especially when they become clingy. I think all babies will experience the 'clingy' stage so babywearing is an efficient and convenient alternative to help to calm your baby and it also will not hurt your arms and back even if you have to carry your baby for hours. You can also use it while helping your wife doing the house chores without leaving your baby behind. Baby just loves to get involved in what ever their parents do, seriously I'm not kidding.

For me, babywearing is much better than using stroller as a mean of mobility for your baby. Our Quinny Zapp stroller (I rate this stroller highly because it's very light weight, compact, flexible - suitable from new born till toddler, easy to maneuvre and it also quite costly, but we asked PakNgah Adam who is still in Germany to buy it there where it's slightly cheaper) is now becoming obsolete since we were introduced with babywearing. I think most of you have the experience of having difficulties in maneuvaring your baby stroller especially when you go to some places where you will find a lot of people such as shopping complex. It's just so hard to push through the stroller in between massive crowds. Using escalator also would be another major problem with stroller because it's quite risky and difficult to handle with your baby lying inside, but not with babywearing. It's just so easy and it won't disturb other people and very light weight, seriously you hardly feel the extra weight of your baby on your back.

With babywearing you also could significantly reduce the amount of space being used in your car boot because you can easily fold it up and put it in your pocket...hehehe..Don't be surprised, I know I know I'm exagerrating a little bit..hehehe.. Another great advantage of babywearing is the economic side in comparison with stroller because you can get babywearing material such as Mei Tai and pouch relatively a lot cheaper than stroller especially those ones that are quite comfy, reliable, compact and light weight because it can cost you up to 1 thousand and some cost even more. The cost of babywearing material is comparatively so cheap especially if you make it yourself.

All in all, what I like the most about babywearing is because as a father since we can not breastfeed our baby, this is a great opportunity to bond with your child and it's also very practical, comfy, convenient and have a sturdy structure which make it very safe. It's also very difficult for people to steal your cute baby really!=)

So, why wait, try get one and experience it yourself. Whatever it is, it's up to the individual because yeah of course other people have different kind of opinions, views and what not.

For me, I love it especially the one that I wear because it is specially handmade by my lovely wife. Thank you so much Sayang!Babywearing rocks and you even rocker B!!!=)

My Adventure in Photography

Never in my life before I ever thought that I will fall in love with the art of photography. All this while, for me taking picture is just taking a picture, printing it out and keeping it nicely in an album for you to recall and reminisce the precious memory. I did not look at it as a powerful art and also an efficient way of conveying certain messages which also brings a lot of emotions.

So how did I encounter with this interesting piece of art? Not so long ago to be honest, it was just last year when my son was about couple of months old. Once, we had a photoshoot session and when I received those pictures, I was so impressed and at the same time it made me thinking, “Sampai bila we want to ask somebody else to take our picture?” Then, I say to myself, why not me myself take the pictures of us because I’m always with my family and I have all the time in the world to take their pictures. So since then, I started some googling works, reading through the reviews, tutorials, tips and anything else related to photography and also picture editing intensively. At the same time I also fortunate to stumble upon a few great photography forums and also photoblogs of some great photographers. When my wife bought me my DSLR as my birthday present, I was really excited to start practicing and photographing both of my wife and my boy until today and I hope for a very very long time to come. If I count it right, up to yesterday I have taken about 11,000 pictures already just in a couple of months. Just guess, dalam byk2 tu berape byk yg betul-betul can be considered at least as acceptable, not good but acceptable? Not that many to be honest, only some of them are really good ones but it never lets me down because I believe that it’s part and parcel towards becoming good at what we want to be. Somebody once told me that, for a National Geographic photographer, they have to take thousands of pictures in order to get one perfect shot to be published in the magazine. At first, I was like, what the heck?!Itu professional tu, kalau aku taktaula..hehehe..But I take it as a challenge and it surely is a great motivation for me.

Ok dalam ramai-ramai photographers that I stumbled upon their photoblog, I really admire this one guy who is now I could consider as my ‘Tok Guru’..hehehe..selamba je claim. He’s the one who told me about the National Geographic photographers taking countless of pictures just to get the perfect one for publishing. I always (everyday!) view his art works and try to get the similar kind of shot but to no avail, not even one, his pictures are one of a kind and brings some special emotions. He takes stunning photos of his family especially his son, Haiqal and also other stuffs. I have yet to have the opportunity to meet him or even attend one of his classes (I will surely do one day). All this while, our communications are only through flickr mail. I could say that he’s a very loving type of family man and very passionate with what he does best, photography. He’s very down to earth kind of guy and sgt tak lokek ilmu. Do check out his flickr here and his blog here and you will be amazed with his photo works. Actually I have put links to his websites at my side bar. Oh one more thing, tak sangka betul rupa-rupanya Wazari ni orang kampong teman. Ape lagi Yeop, moh le kite ye..hehe..

For me to photograph a toddler is the hardest. If you photograph adult, typically when they see you pointing your camera at them they will just give you a pose, paling tak pun they will stay still except those yg pemalu tu, they normally will just tutup muka or turn their face away or worse, they run away..hehe..For babies also relatively easy because they do not move much, just lie around and they will ‘follow’ for whatever type or angle of shots you want to take. For toddler, they just don’t bother. They keep doing their own business no matter what you tell them or sometimes up to an extent where you have to make any kind of weird sounds and faces just to attract their attention and still, some of them, they just do not bother and keep on playing just like my son. Sometimes, when you manage to get their attention, they will become so really excited to come to you quickly, be it by crawling or walking and sometimes jumping off the sofa just to get their hands on your camera, again just like my active son..hehehe..This is when I feel that I can not thank to my wife more for giving me a DSLR for my birthday present, I’m just so grateful. This is what a DSLR camera is capable of, it captures fast and constantly moving objects really really well without compromising the sharpness and quality of the picture which typically experienced by a normal point-and-shoot type of camera i.e normal digital/non-digital camera. So that’s why sometimes with the point-and-shoot type of camera the outcomes tend to be so blurry when we take pictures of moving objects.

Ok, believe it or not, it does come across in my mind once, no no it’s actually all the times..hehehe…that one day I would just quit my job and do what I keen the most, to be a photographer (sebelum ni nak jadi footballer tapi mcm dah terlambat and susah sgt je..hehe). But I’m not sure whether my skills are good enough for us to make a living out of it..hehehe..Actually dpt jadi official photographer for my family is already a great satisfaction for me because photographing my love ones are the most exciting and enjoyable works that I could ever ask for in my life. Ah!You just can not tell the feeling when you manage to take a good picture of your love ones. It’s a pure satisfaction and it makes you feel good and happy after all the hard, tough and boring works in the office..heh..

Hmmm…how I wish…*dreaming* Still long way to go man, a very looooong way =D

How We Spend Our (Father-Son) Time Together Everyday...

Kesian betul anak aku sorang ni. Bangun je pagi2, mamai2 tak sempat mandi ape Daddy terus angkat untuk amek gambar..heheh..I just put a vacuum cleaner right in front of him and he's all up and ready to play..hehe..Then, Daddy pun snap..snap..snap..until he gets bored with the hoover. Lepas mandi and all dressed up Daddy comes again for another photoshoot..hehehe..

Sebenarnya bukan weekend saje, setiap hari sampai je rumah lepas balik keje itula aktiviti aku dengan Adam sementara Mommy memasak for berbuka kat dapur. Aku memang berazam untuk amek gambar my son (also future kids) kalau boleh setiap hari because I want to make sure the precious moments are captured and preserved forever. Plus, I could also improve my photography skills and techniques, alang-alang dah ada free models ni. Another reason is because I never have my own picture when I was a baby or toddler. Yang aku ingat gambar yang paling lama sekali yang aku penah tengok is masa aku kat sekolah tadika dulu, itupun ntah ke mana peginya. I just don't want the same thing happen to my kids, kesian takde gambar kenangan masa kecik-kecik macam Daddy. It's not my parents don't like to take my pictures or even my other siblings, it's just having a camera that time wasn't something that they could afford of. Alhamdulillah, my wife ada rezeki lebih sikit, so she bought me a DSLR camera for my 25th birthday's present last year. TQ Sayang!

Ok, so typically, we will sit in the living room for the picture taking sessions. I will make the set up which typically is putting the vacuum cleaner to distract my son from my camera. Since I don't like to use flash, I'll open all the windows and tie up the curtains to make sure the lighting is good and bright enough for the photo session. This is vital because I could use high shutter speed to photograph my agile and constantly moving son and the rest I just let the pictures do the talking. Hope you enjoy the pictures! He just turned 11 months old last Friday on 5th of September 2008. He nowadays is a very active boy, never stops playing, crawling, walking and exploring in the house. He seems never run out of ideas on what to do. When he does something that might harm him such as munching tv cables we will try to stop him by saying 'No' which now seems hardly working on him. So instead, we pull him away. For a moment he will just sit there as if thinking on what he wants to do next. In a blink of an eye he's just gone to some where else doing something else. It's just so hard to keep up with him but it's a joy for us to watch him exploring the world with his own special ways. Oh, he also babbles a lot more and louder nowadays. Cute!

Visit to National Zoo & Nadrah's 1st Birthday Party

I simply could not find a vivid memory that I have in my brain on my first visit to National Zoo. So I might say that last Saturday was my first time in National Zoo for my entire life..hahaha..It does sound ridiculous, does it? National Zoo is a typical and common place for any school to organise a bus trip especially during school holidays. I want to think that my primary school did organise a trip there, it just me who did not lucky enough to participate. Ala lagipun dulu sekolah kat kampung, so dah boring tengok segala binatang and pokok..haha..Nice excuse eh?

So lucky you Dadam, you had visited it while you are at just 10months plus. If later in the future you say you don't remember when is your first visit to zoo, mmg saja la, Daddy has a lot of pictures of you and Mommy as prove..hehehe..I might say, National Zoo is definitely worth few more visits because we just love the clean and cool environment even though the sun is bright and shiny right on top of your head. For sure we will bring our little boy again when he starts walking and running and jumping and know how to appreciate the flora and fauna there. I'm pretty sure that we might gonna spend our time there the whole day because it seems that that boy might be a little tough to be persuaded to go back home..heh..

We certainly had a great and precious family time there.

Oh we also met Lana and family there during animal show.

On Sunday, we went to Nadhrah's first birthday party. Nadhrah Az-Zahra is our colleague's Muiz & Eeda cute baby girl. At first, she was all moody and reluctant to accept the presence of 'stranger' but after a while she was all happy, cheerful and taking control the party with her giggles and babbles..hehe..I could say she's a happy go lucky type of baby girl like her parents. I was told that her birthday was actually on 21st. August. So happy belated birthday Nadhrah. Nanti birthday Adam datang tau.

It's quite seldom to have a bright and sunny day lately, normally it's always wet and gloomy. Yesterday evening was one of the lucky time where the sun came out so bright. So after work, I took the opportunity to bring my wife and my son to take a quick stroll in a park which closes to my son's nursery. I managed to snap a few pictures before we were all getting sweaty and heading back home. Even though it was just a short and quick time but I’m still glad to be able to capture the picture of both of my wife and my son. It always feels so good to have the opportunity to spend some precious times with my love ones especially after all the stresses and strains at works. It’s just a pure relief!

Our hectic weekend

It was busy days for us last weekend. There were few events that we attended. First the wedding of our office mate Amir with his wife Fatin. The lovely wedding was held in PERMATA, Bangi.

Right after that we went to a babywearing community gathering in Damansara Perdana. I'm quite surprised to know about the existence of such community until my wife who is also quite passionate about it told me. I never know that there were actually so many types of baby wearing and look so cool and comfortable for carrying a baby.

Next day on Sunday, after having Mommy's nyumilicious pancake for breakfast, in the afternoon we went to TTDI to meet my wife's blogger friend, Munirah. It was the first time we met her and her families. She has such beautiful twins, Harith & Athirah and a newly born baby boy Uzair. Adam was rambang mata to see all kind of toys lying around in the living room. It's so good to finally meet Munirah and her wonderful family. Thank you for inviting us and the hospitality. Oh, thank you also for the cute little baby pool for Adam. He must be excited to bath in it..hehe..

Last Sunday we went to our college where we did our A-level for 1 and half years. It was alumni day and various activities were organised by the organiser. I only participated in inter batch football tournament where in the end we did not manage to retain our championship in losers pool..hehe..Mommy and Adam came to give support to me but the weather was just to hot for them to stay long at the side of the field. So Mommy and Adam was lepaking in surau instead, much more comfortable and cooler. There, Mommy said Adam again became the centre of attention, by the end of day every girls there know Adam already. Whenever Mommy wanted to pray, there would always people volunteer to watch and play with that boy. When it came to azan time, Mommy said he would be following the bilal azan loudly, I indeed did hear his voice so loud during the azan for Maghrib from the lady's prayer section..hehe..
Thanx Mommy and Adam for accompanying Daddy to go to our college. Next time, I'll bring you guys to my school in Ipoh pulak. It could be Adam's future school..heheh..

Happy 10 months old Adam!. He has 6 teeth already but he still does not really know how to use them correctly. Oh boy, now Mommy becomes his new teether. Whenever Mommy screams during BF, you always looks nonchalant as if nothing happens. You have your own character now, know what you want, know how to attract attention and can think of simple solutions especially when you are playing. Separation anxiety with Mommy is quite common for you at this stage. Whatever it is watching you growing up is always a wonderful moment in our life. Mommy and Daddy love you so much Dadam!

Last Saturday my son turned 9 months old. Time files really really fast. Even some of his little friends are already expecting little brother or sister..hehehe..Skejap je rase.

Ok here, some developments that he has achieved so far,

- As you all know now, he's so much more active than ever. Crawling everywhere. Grab anything that crosses in front of him. Climb everything he can. 'Kemas'ing, rearranging everything in the house.

- 6 teeth already showed out, 4 at the top gum and 2 at the bottom gum.

- He's the expert of 'gomol'ing Mommy and Daddy, especially Mommyla sampai Mommy terjerit2 tak tahan di gomol sebab abes basah muka sume kene ~~jilat~~ wet kiss

- He eats twice a day now but badan still tak besar2, kenit je

- Sometimes, he could stand on his own without grabbing on to anything.

- He recognise people well

- Dalam rumah cukup bising especially when he's playing but outside when there are other people around, he suddenly becomes quite and all smiley.

- Now, his favourite the word is 'Umma' . Wonder what it means? It means Mommy. 'Daddy' blom lagi but surprisingly sometimes we hear that he said 'abbah' few times, 'ayyah' pun few times already.

- We just figured out last weekend that now dia dah suka jugak mandi air sejuk..hehehe..Few times I tried to bath him petang2 with air sejuk but Mommy does not let me and also si kenit tu meraung. But last weekend I just rendam him in our small kolam and he LOVED it. So lepas ni bolehla try mandi kat swimming pool lak. Yay!

So Happy 9 Months old son. We love you so very much!

While everyone else is sleeping our little boy has his own activity to fill his spare time in the middle of the night! He will wander in the house 'cleaning and rearranging' everything especially the CDs rack and play all alone until he is worn out.

Recently he just found out that our stool is actually an amazing device that could entertain himself. Everyday he will play with it and push it everywhere he could go in the house. Surprisingly he just knows by himself how to manoeuvre that little thing.

Nanoor is the winner of my wife's blog give-away competition which was held few weeks ago if I'm not mistaken. We decided to have the photoshoot yesterday in Botanical Garden Putrajaya. It was a lovely day eventhough the sky was not as blue as we would love to see. This is the first time we met them in person and they are such a wonderful and lovely family especially their cute little princess Tasneem who really really likes to smile. It's a great pleasure for me and my family to meet them. Many thanks to Nanoor & family for giving me the opportunity to capture their family pictures. How did we spend our last weekends together

On Saturday we went to OU to check out the Craft Haven shop, recommended by UmmiSaeed. After that, Mommy wanted to check out a sewing shop Sakura in Subang Jaya, also recomended by UmmiSaeed.

Then, on Sunday after going to my ex-schoolmate wedding in KL we went straight to Alamanda just to bring Adam to play in Funland. Adam was so d*mn excited playing there. He met a lot of friends. Main sampai benjol2 dahi sebab jatuh, but it just did not stop him from playing..hehehe..

Ah!Time flies really2 fast. Sekejap je Adam dah besar. Now, his second tooth is showing up. He likes to play a lot nowadays, tak kira siang, malam even tengah malam buta.

Few days ago we went to a clinic because Adam had a running nose and we took the opportunity to weigh him. We were surprised because he's losing weight, he lost few hundred grams already. He now weighs 6.7kg, last time we checked he was 7kg. Kenit je Adam. The doc said, it's normal because he's more active now and she recommended us to give Adam few meals a day and also some snacks in between. I was so glad to hear that because now I have the reason to feed my son a lot!Lagipun now as he turns 8 months old, he can literally eat various types of food. My wife said, abesla pasni Adam mesti makin chubby and bulatnya..hehehe..

Selalunya org ckp, "Ah aku senang takde pantang, mkn apa saje tolak batu kayu and besi je" and my son is exactly like that, in fact dia tak tolak pun batu kayu besi, memang makan apa saje kalau tak dihalang..hehehe..Dah a few times we caught him makan mende yg ntah pape, paling dia suka is wayar, any wayar. Kalau dia tiba2 senyap sunyi je kat umah, takde dgr suara dia mesti kitorang kelam kabut cari dia sebab selalunya mesti dia tgh kusyuk mengadap makan ntah pape...heheh..Adam..Adam..Ah!Miss him already *sigh*

Happy 8 months old son!!!Walaupun kenit tapi I can see that you have a very strong determination in yourself. Size doesn't matter right?You are very active and playful. At 8 months old, you have actually covered every inch and corner in our house by crawling or walking in your walker. You just like to play "catch me if you can' with Mommy and Daddy. Pantang lepa, zup terus hilang..Gigi pun dah tumbuh sebatang kat bawah, a few times already I heard Mommy screams for help because he bites during breastfeeding. Kang kene tarik balik subsidi kang baru tau..heheh..

Guess what?My boy is already capable of standing straight without any support for a few precious seconds!!Last night when I played with him as usual, he will try to climb me up to stand and I will hold both of his hands. Last night I tried to release his grasp slowly and he managed to stand up eventhough his knees were shaking a little..hehehe..Once he found out that he actually could stand, he would just not stop trying until I was tired, not him. Ntah2 sekejap je dah nk jln kot si kenit ni. I think once he got the confidence then it would be hard for us to catch him..heheh Sekejap je dah beso anak Daddy ni. .

Engagement Shasha

Last Saturday was my wife’s cousin, Shasha’s engagement. The event was so lovely and Shasha was looking beautiful in her light purple dress. It was my very first time to shoot in a big event like that, walaupun tak disuruh but I just took the opportunity to snap quite a number of pictures..hehehe..At first I was quite reluctant to take pictures. Yela, bukannya apa, segan lebih2 lagi there was also other professional photographer whom I believe is paid to capture great moments for that event. So taknakla mengganggu kerja orang lain pulak. But as usual my lovely and supportive wife said it’s ok because nothing is wrong in taking pictures especially for a special event like that and kept ~~pushing~~ believing in me that I could take beautiful photos. In the end, I think it turned out quite ok for an amateur like me. Thanx Sayang for your great support! You always believe in me =)

Visit Along & family

Then, on Sunday we went to visit Along and her family in her in-law’s house in Damansara. So another opportunity for me to practice my photography techniques..hehe..It was great to see Along and her family especially Hafiy yg dah kurus sikit. Thanx Along for inviting us to come. Recently, Adam’s teacher at nursery told us that Adam likes to make faces. We are not sure what she actually meant with that until last Sunday when we had special dinner to celebrate Mother’s day with Tok Mama, Pokde and Moksu Acah. Just look at the pictures and see how that kenit boy made faces.

When first arrived, he looked bored and hambar je. Then started mkn the menu list.

Out of sudden..the show started with kunyah2 action..

Then makin syok kunyah. This was when Mommy started worried kot2 si kenit ni kunyah ntah ape2

Once, Mommy found out that there was nothing in his mouth, Mommy pun naik syok tgk and Adam lak makin syok making funny faces.

Seriously we do not know why he made faces like that. Mommy was really worried kot2 Adam tengah mkn ape2 ke yg he picked up from anywhere. Mommy siap korek2 lagi his mouth and it turned out nothing.

These pictures pulak taken last Saturday when we attended our company’s mini sports carnival. Our department chose Tiger as our mascot, that’s the reason why we brought our specially bred baby tiger during the sports day, kasi gegar sikit and of course our little tiger got all the attention. Mommy supposed to play telematch but had to withdraw because the little tiger needed all the attention from Mommy. Daddy played football and my team emerged as the champion..wooohooo!!!Our department turned out to be the overall champion, another wooohoooo!!!

2nd. Anniversary Vacation & Adam turns 7 Months Old

Happy 7 months old son. Another great milestone in your life. We are so proud with you and so happy to see how you grow up so well. Here is a quick glance on your personal development.

- Can sit on your own walaupun tak berapa nak lama bertahan
- Can sit straight on high chair
- Very much ready to start crawling
- Very jumpy
- Suka sangat makan Mommy's hand
- Sangat susah untuk dimandikan. Bukan sebab tak suka tapi sebab terlalu suka, asyik terkinja2
dalam tub.
- Eat solid food once a day
- Pandai tido sendiri. No need to tepuk2 or dodoi2 especially kalau dah betul2 mengantuk.
- Tido sangat lasak. Abes disondol Mommy & Daddy sebab dia merangkak dalam keadaan mata
still pejam
- Suka duduk dalam his walker and always try to follow wherever Mommy goes, mengekor je dia
- Mulut dia lagi efficient dari his hands sebabnya, kalau dia nak amek ape2 selalunya dia akan try amek with his mouth and jilat2 instead of his hands.

Ape lagi ek. Rasanya tu je kot. I'm sure Mommy will add more later in her blog.

Ok, on our second anniversary last weekend, we went to The Legend Water Chalet in Port Dickson. It was a great vacation for us and we really did enjoy ourself together.

Our 2nd. Anniversary

On this day 2 years ago, we officially tied our knot as husband and wife. It was truly a wonderful and the best moment in our life.We were so happy that finally we can be together and spend the rest of our life with each other.

And today, I'm so glad that we are still crazy with each other. We still say "I love you" to each other every single day. We are more matured and understand each other better. We accept each other weaknesses and our differences make us more complete. Together we go through all the ups and downs in our life. We even can read each other mind sometimes. Sometimes, we look back at our past and we learn from it to venture a better future for us. Most of all, now we are blessed with a lovely son who always make our life blossom with love. We thank God for giving us the opportunity to love and to live this life together and insyaallah forever. Sayang, Happy 2nd. Anniversary. I love you and will love you for the rest of my life and you rock my world babe!!!!=)

My Birthday

Last weekend was my birthday. Yang ke berape, tak perlula dinyatakan di sini, tapi confirmla dah lepas suku abad, kire tua la tu senang cerita..hehehe..The night on my birthday tepat2 12 midnight, my wife and Adam (si kenit ni pun bangun gak skali join) surprised me with delicious choc. cake, my favourite SR Choc Mud.Nyum2!!

My birthday jatuh pada hari Jumaat (alhamdulillah, berkat) , so we still had to go to work. After work my wife wanted to bring me to a secret place because she wanted to buy me something but I have to drive us there..hehehe..Sian Ayang, she kept telling me that she a little bit dissapointed because she could not make surprise for me. It's ok Sayang, it really does not matter to me. The most important thing is that I could celebrate my birthday with the people that I love the most. So we went to The Curve. Here where I had my surprise. I've never expected that my wife was actually wanted to buy me something that I really2 want to have, it's a photography thingy. I told her it's really expensive and I need to do some background studies first before I choose what's good to have and lagi pun she already bought me a camera few months back as my early birthday present. Dahsyat kan my wife, siap ade early birthday present lagi. Everytime I told her that during my birthday nanti shedoesn't have to buy me anything else but she kept telling me this, "Apala sgt kalo nak compare dgn kasih sayang Abg" Alahai bini aku ni..hehehe..TQ Sayang, I really2 appreciate it a lot. At last, she did not buy that 'present' because I really2 want to have a think about it first supaya tak menyesal di kemudian hari. She was a little bit sad. It's ok Sayang, Abg dah already happy with what you had done for me. As a consolation you really2 did surprise me though.

So balik tu, my wife mmg makin bersungguh-sungguh nak siapkan the bean bag sbb she did not manage to buy the top list present for me and I'm sure you already saw the big and cosy bean bag in my previous entry right?Once you landed on it, seriously you can never get yourself up easily. It's like a quicksand, once you in it, it sucks you in quickly. The harder you strangle, the more difficult to get out from it..Sounds scary huh?hehehehe..But I just love it!It's so d*mn comfy. Thanx Sweetie!

OK, on a separate note just to let you know that last Sunday we went to see my bestfriend Dezek at his parents' house in Bangi. Bila masing2 dah keje memang jarang dapat jumpe each other. We have been friends for more than 10 years. Sekolah sama, kolej sama, universiti pun sama (housemate) and now keje in the same company cume different sub-company and location. His parents pun memang dah baik sangat with me, even his mom also knows that I don't eat spicy food. So everytime I come she will surely reduce the spiciness in her masakan walaupun diorang satu family suka spicy food because they are orang Nogori. So when he got back in Bangi I took the opportunity to meet him and his family. Oh, he has a lovely daughter Fathiah Yusra. Muka cam anak Jepun, she's very sweet and adorable. My wife dengan berbesar hati siap jahit a new shoes for Fathiah, red in colour lagi..hehe..Thanx Honey!

Last time I told you that my wife bought me a camera as an early birthday present (mmg early gile because it was few months back) and this time guess what did she give me when my birthday came? She made me a very HUGE cool bean bag!!Bapaknye besar!It's like a mattress for a mammoth!!!Hehehe..

Happy Birthday Atuk Zul!

Yesterday, 15th. of April was my FIL's birthday, he is now 53 years old. We are so happy to see some improvement that he has achieved, alhamdulillah. We believe, with some patience and a lot of prayers from everybody, he will get better and better, insyaallah. We really miss his great and warm presence in the family. He was everything to all of his family members. May this birthday brings him much much better health and happiness. Happy 53rd. Birthday Abah/Atuk!

Last weekend we went back to celebrate my Dad's birthday. Actually his birthday was yesterday and it's his 55th birthday.

Abah/Atuk,

We would like to wish you a very happy birthday. We pray that may this birthday brings you more and more happiness in life and a very good health. Thank you for everything you have given to us all. Thank you for every sacrifice that you made. You always put everybody else especially your wife, kids and now your daughter in law and of course your first ever cucu before yourself. Thank you for being such a wonderful Dad and Atuk. Adam is soooo really like to play with you. You really really have taught me a lot about life. You taught me and brought me up for what I am now. I know, thank you and presents that we give for every of your birthday are just never enough to show our appreciation for what you have sacrificed for us all in the family even for the extended family. I wish I could be a great husband and daddy like you. You simply are the best Dad for us all. We always pray for you and May Allah bless you always.

Ok. Now my favourite boy. Adam just turned 6 months old last Saturday. Oh my, this boy is growing up so fast. So agile!!So talkative!!So loud!!He simply makes the world seems the best place to live in and showers everybody in it with loves and his broad and infectious smiles.

At 6 months old, he has achieved several major milestones of his life.

1). He can sit without support for a few secs before slowly goes down like a chopped timber. That's why I always like to put him on sitting position and happily watch him goes down and tersembam on our bed..hehehe..and of course la lepas tu kene marah dgn Mommy =D

2). He's now able to set himself in crawling position. Cume tak move je lagi. Kalau dia tgh tension (mcm in picture below) ke or nak mintak org angkat dia lagila selalu dia in crawling position.

3). He had his first solid food experience right when he turned 6 months old. Alhamdulillah he seems to like food like his Daddy..hehe..Alhamdulillah dah masuk 4 days ni he does not show any bad reaction towards solid food. So tomorrow, we would add sweet potato in his mashed rice with EBM. Nyum Nyum!!!

4). I heard a few times he said "Maa". At first I thought it's just his own gibberish words. But after a while I saw quite a few times he's just looked at Mommy while spreading his arms widely and said, "Maa". So how's that?Does it count as his first word?Hehehe..

5). He has his first football JERSEY!!and it's our favourite football team Arsenal!!!hehehe..Tak lame lagi Adam boleh temankan Daddy tengok football and then main football jugak. Yay!!!

6). Yg lain2 tu byk lagi. Mendepa-depakan tangan nak mintak org dukung tu dah lame dah. Cume bile dah 6 months ni makin kerap pulak..hehe..He's so active. Likes to jump especially when he's excited. He also knows people. He laughs and smiles A LOT! Menyembur pun byk jugak..hehe..Bercakap cukup banyak and kuat. Oh oh one more thing. He now likes to make a very squeaky sound like this.

Ok lastly, in my previous entry I talked how Adam walked on his own with his walker to watch fish in our little aquarium. I just thought that might be a coincidence or a typical baby's curiosity especially when they see moving object. Not really like it as in really really love it. Last few days I tried to hold Adam closer to the aquarium and look how's his reaction or should I say his excitement =) especially towards the end of the video when he sounded so excited and geram with the little fish. Klaka la Adam ni tau.

Aquarium fish-keeping activity is actually my other hobby besides football (Actually football is not considered as my hobby, it's my ~~obsession~~ passion) and the newly-found, photography . It's been since I was in Sheffield. It's my dream to have an aquascaped aquarium like this but I think it's just too difficult for me to maintain it because it requires a lot of efforts and great passion just to provide such an incredible focus and attention to ensure the fish as well as the aquatic plants alive. Dapat ada small and simple aquarium pun jadila. Sometimes whenever I don't feel good about life or bored I just sit and spend some precious minutes in front of the aquarium watching the fish swimming around. To tell the truth, it actually really helps to make me feel calm and relaxed.
Now I think Adam also has the same interest. When he's in bad mood, sometimes I just sit with him in front of our little aquarium and at the same time, I would also explain or cerita2 sikit to him about the fish. It would actually calm him down and he's just curiously/excitedly watching the fish swimming around. Plus the sound of water dripping from the water filter makes it even calmer. Last night, we were quite surprised to see him walked by himself (of course with his walker la) towards the aquarium and spent his own sweet time there for a while watching the fish. Sampai mendongak2 sebab we put the aquarium quite high up on a wooden rack. That time we were doing something else, Mommy was in the kitchen and I was watching tv. When Mommy walked into the living room looking for Adam sbb tiba2 je senyap tak dengar his voice tengok2 dia tengah sorang2 looking up in front of the aquarium. It's really surpised us because he too was quite near to the kitchen and plus the walker is actually pretty difficult to manoeuvre even when we push it, it's still hard to direct it to where we would want it to be. Yet, Adam still managed to 'drive' his walker to the aquarium which is relatively quite far for him to move with his walker. So Mommy quickly called me and I managed to snap a few pics of him enjoying his time with the fish.

Alhamdulillah my son Adam is already back. He was discharged from the hospital on Wednesday night. The doctor said his fever was gone and the level of bacterial infection reduced a lot to a safe level. He's now back to his normal happy, cheerful and talkative self.

We are so lucky because Adam is a very very tough boy I would say. When he was in the hospital nurse sesukahati diorang je cucuk Adam sane sini to take his blood sample for a series of tests. Siap ade tersilap cucuk lagi,kitorang mmg dah hangin satu badan dah especially Daddy. One of the nurse is so not competent because she looked so nervy and unsure on what she was doing. At one time when she wanted to amek darah Adam, sampai meleleh2 sane sini and siap tak tutup the tube that filled with Adam's blood even though Mommy already asked her to do so. But she replied," It's ok, takpe tak tutup darah tak keluar". Hours later, we asked other nurse about the blood test result and she said that we had to do it again because the blood sample was contaminated. This must be because of that nurse!!!But they said this time they will send staff from the laboratory to do it. Good!! So the second time it was so quick and less painful for Adam. Geram betul dengan nurse tu. Sabar je la, kalau ikutkan hati mau di luku2 kan je..hehe...Walaupun the nurse screwed up badly the blood-taking procedure, Adam was soooo patient and tak byk meragam. Dia duk rilek je sambil2 tgk tv, walaupun darah dia dah menitik2 sampai ke Mommy's pant.

Then mase kat hospital tu jugak, once in a while Adam will be using 'nebulizer' machine like in the picture. The 'nebulizer' helps to clear out all the hingus2 and kahak so that he could breath easily. Rilek je budak kenit ni, takde langsung dia tolak2 ke sebab tak selesa because he knows that 'thing' would actually make his breathing much better. Smart boy!

Alhamdulillah so far after 2 days back at home, Adam is doing just fine. No problem in taking medicine as usual. Selesema pun dah ok. It was really an experience for all of us. After this, if anything we might straight away bring Adam to APSH if his health condition looks bad. Actually before we brought Adam to APSH we went to a clinic and also a specialist hospital in Bangi, Al-something to check him but both really2 dissapointed us because they say he was only having a normal fever which will go away by taking certain medicine. Even one of them did give Adam an antibiotic which from our understanding, babies are not allowed to be given antibiotic unless the situation is very serious and must be monitored by doctor. I don't knowla why they take matters like this for granted. Perhaps, in their perspective this is just a small thing, but for us anything about our baby is really2 important, no such things as small things. I'm not saying this because I'm an anti of certain professions and what more to question their professionalism. I'm also not saying that all doctors are like that. This comment is entirely apply just for this particular experience of us. Lagipun byk our friends yg jadi doctor yang bagus2 and hebat2 dah sekarang. Harap2 warga2 doctor sekalian tak terasa hati la ek.

Whatever it is, syukur kepada Allah yg telah menyembuhkan sakit Adam through all the hard works and helps from those people in APSH and also their hospitality. We really really appreciate it a lot.

Adam is warded

Dear all..
Adam is just warded today in Ampang Putri due to fever and infection.
At the moment he's doing quite fine. Tapi kesian sangat nengoknya..lembik and merengek2 je, tapi once in a while walaupun tak sihat dia still senyum2 and try to have a chat with us...
We really2 miss his bubbly and happy-go-lucky self. Sunyi sepi je rumah ni bila Adam demam.
Please pray for his speedy recovery ok.

Our 5 months macho boy

Dah 5 bulan dah anak Daddy ni. Bravo bravo! You are growing up so fast and becoming so bubbly and very chatty nowadays. You also laugh a lot!!That really really makes us so happy son. We would try anything, make any kind of funny faces, weird & sometimes squeaky sounds, jumping around, try to be like a clown, just to make you laugh. We kinda addicted to it seriously..hehehe..Just watch the video where he laughs. The video was taken while Mommy was trying to change his diaper in our car on our journey back from Teluk Cempedak Kuantan.

1 more month you could start eating solid. In fact sekarang ni pun macam dah tak sabar je Adam ni. The moment he's about to turn 5 month last night he started to mengunyah and jelir2 lidah. Mommy pun dah start making all the planning on what food to give you and preparing them as well as charting the schedule (check list). The Doc said that we have to try various type of foods just to develop your taste buds. We should start with plain cereal/rice and after that with different kind of fruits and vege. Each meal should be tested for at least 4 days trial period to see whether you are allergic to it or not. I think you would have no problem with any food la. You could just eat them all like Daddy does!!Tolak batu, kayu and any kind of metals...heheh..No allergic..Insyaallah.

So, Happy 5th Month Birthday son!!Watching you grow up is such a wonderful moments in our life =)

Vacation in Hyatt Kuantan

Last weekend we had a quick vacation in Teluk Cempedak Kuantan. We stayed in Hyatt Regency Hotel. The hotel is wonderful, the service was great, the food was also excellent. The only drawback was the weather. We just did not catch the right timing because it was all cloudy and raining through out our stay there. If the weather was nice, I think it would be a wonderful vacation for us. If it's not the best, I think it's one of the hotel that we surely will pay a visit again in future for our vacation or at least for a foot reflexology..heheh..

4th. month check-up

Last Thursday we went to Ampang Putri for Adam's check-up. My son is a very tough boy, you know. He did not cry at all when the doctor gave him the jab. He's not even made any uncomfortable face. Macam takde perasaan gitu. Rilek je. Actually mase his first month check-up pun tak nangis jugak. The doctor said that he's all fine. Everything looks perfect. Alhamdulillah. However his weight gain is very little, about 350g, half of last month's. His weight now is 6.35kg. I was quite worried because he did not gain much weight for the past month but the doctor said that the weight gain is ok. He's much active now, which is very very true. Punyala hyper!He sleeps a lot less in daytime. Nak main je. Main sorang2 taknak, main toy pun taknak, he just wants us to layan and play with him all the time, especially his Mommyla. Talk talk talk talk. Talk most of the time. Sampai Mommy dia pun dah tak larat nak layan bercakap. Bayangkanla bertapa byknya si kenit tu membebel sampai Mommy yg ~~kuat bebel~~ peramah tu pun dah tak larat..hehe..Takpela, at least meriah sikit rumah tu. Now, Adam suka sangat berdiri. So last weekend Mommy bought him a walker with the expectation that he would learn to play or entertain himself. The walker seems so interesting with all the toys attached and also some kiddies songs. I think we kind of overestimated him. Dia main sekejap je pastu dia dah boring and asked us to take him out from the walker and layan him berborak and main. Sabar je la and after that we came to a conclusion that we would only buy him toys when he's big enough to know to play alone. Sebenarnya kitorang pun suke jugak yg dia lebih berminat to bermain with us rather than with toys. We certainly have fun spending our time together. It's just sometimes we don't get why he suddenly laugh out loud to what we say. Bukannya cakap mende yg lawak pun. For example, this one particular time, I put him on my tummy and I realised that he was mcm tengah meneran, a sign that he wants to poop and so I asked him, "Adam, Adam nak ber*k ek?". Tibe2 dia gelak terkekek2. I was like, "Eh eh budak ni, what's so funny about that?". Then I asked again, "Adam nak ber*k ek?" and surprisingly he laughed again..hahaha..Pelik la Adam ni, seriously Daddy doesn't understand you la my little weirdo. Tak kisahla Dam, as long as it makes you happy..heheh..

Another strange thing about this little boy is, he really2 likes Twinkle2 Little Star song. It's actually his obsession provided, Mommy dia yg nyanyikan la. If I sing it for him, sometimes it works sometimes he just doesn't bother at all. Kalau dia tengah nangis pun dia boleh stop and start babbling which we think that he actually sings together. Sebab biasanya kalau dia bebel2 memang lain bunyinya. When he listens Mommy sings Twinkle2, bunyi dia lain. Kalau dalam kereta mmg bisingla dua beranak tu menyanyi kat belakang. That's the reason why now I rarely turn on my radio..heheh..My wife siap record lagi her voice singing that song because memang tak larat nak menyanyi for that boy. He wants his Mommy to sing him non-stop. Tapi sekarang he knows to differentiate Mommy's live voice and recorded voice. So the trick using phone does not work anymore. Sian Mommy, ari tu sampai lenguh2 her jaw singing for him. Bila nyanyi lagu lain takmau, we do not know how but he just knows the melody sounds different..heheh..Smart boy!

Oh another special thing about Adam is, he can raise one of his eyebrow at a time. Ala, yg macam The Rock selalu buat tu. Actually Mommy already told me about this dah lame dah, it's just that recently I saw he does it for the first time. Wow!So cool la anak Daddy ni. Daddy can not do it and Mommy either. When he did it, nampak ganas je muke..hehe..I wish I could take a picture of him doing that.

I love photography. Hahaha, what a surprised statement from me...Those people who know me well especially my close friends would laugh and be surprised to hear this. What they all know about me is I'm a football enthusiast. Nothing else but football, period. My wife once thought that football is actually my life. Yup, that's before I met you dear ;). Memang makan bola minum bola tido bola la..hehe..Sounds ridiculous eh?But hey, it's true man. Recently I found myself really fall into the world of photography. I'm becoming so passionate with it until at one time it came across in my mind that I could actually be serious in this and make it as a profession. Hahaha.. I'm pretty sure that I was just kidding myself. But you know what, my wife totally likes the idea. She really really gets so fascinated with the idea of me being serious and good at photography.Hahaha..she BELIEVES that I've got the talent as well as the creativity to be good at this. Thank you for believing in me Sayang!

Actually my wife also loves all the great photography works especially those involving babies. (She really likes the idea of me being a baby-specialised photographer) This is also the main reason why I really like to see myself to be good at photography. I have 2 most beautiful persons in my life, so why not to take a shot. It's not the hardest things to do after all. Just need the passion & a little patience together with some knowledge to acquire the right skills and technique and also the right equipments for it. Seriously it worths the world to photograph the people that I love. Just imagine if you could snap the pictures of the smiles of your loved ones especially your little baby. Ah, it's simply the most wonderful feeling in life. Their smiles are so infectious. Lebih-lebih lagi now Adam dah pandai to laugh and very talkative with his bibberish language. Our current camera is just not capable enough to quickly snap those precious moments because they are just happening at the spur of time. I just don't want to miss those great moments again.

So last weekend my lovely wife surprised me by buying a Canon EOS DSLR camera in supporting me to become our family official photographer...hehehe...Million thanx to you Sayang. So after weeks of reading from internet on photography, yesterday we went to The Souq Putrajaya to let me had the first try out photography session. Unfortunately the weather was quite cloudy, nasib baik tak hujan je but after all I guess it went quite well for a beginner like me..hehe..

Today our cute little boy, Adam is 4 months old. He has grown up so much in such a short period of time. This handsome boy has developed really well in the last 4 months . He talks a lot nowadays. Pok pek pok pek like his Mommy..hehe..Memang jadi kawan bersembangla...He also knows how to laugh. His laugh is just so special, we never get enough of talking to him and hearing him laughing. A Famosa Resort - Mommy's Suprise Birthday Vacation

In my last entry I said that I wanted to bring my wife and Adam to a place to celebrate Mommy's birthday. So that place was A Famosa Resort. Enjoy those pictures that we took from our recent vacation in A Famosa Resort in Malacca.

First Day

We checked in early because there were a lot of available rooms. We unpacked our things and had rest. In the evening we went to Cowboy Town. Yeeehaaaa!!!

This entry supposed to be posted in 2 days time because it’s the birthday of my lovely wife. However tomorrow we will be taking our annual leaves until Friday and will be going to some place for our very first family vacation with Adam to celebrate Mommy’s big day. I presume to get internet connection would be difficult there, so I think it’s better if I post this very special entry today. So…
